Command line interface to adapte subtitle format to jellyfin subtitles format requirements.

Setup

Install Rust

$ curl --proto '=https' --tlsv1.2 -sSf https://sh.rustup.rs | sh

Build project

$ cargo build 

Project binary location : target/debug/jellyfin

Tips

Use the binary as a command :

$ sudo mv target/debug/jellyfin /usr/bin/

Test installation :

$ jellyfin --version

Functionality

The binary can handle:

• weird episode naming convention : 01x04, s01E09, ...
• subtitle nested into subdir : Chernobyl/sub/S01E03/french.srt
• multiple subtitle for the same episode, use of a tags system to chose the default subtitle (see --tags arguments).
• preview operation without making any changes, to avoid errors (see --preview arguments).
